We are a coalition of organizations aligned with a common cause: to protect the Canadian population from the rise in antimicrobial resistance

Every member has an equal vote towards setting the direction of CAIC and approving strategies for achieving our aims

Comprised of two representatives from each subgroup, as well as the Chair and Vice-Chair of CAIC, the Steering Committee guides CAIC’s operations and serves as an information channel between CAIC and its constituent sub-groups

The Steering Committee also makes recommendations regarding strategy, policy positions, and action items, in addition to overseeing financial and governance decisions related to external communications and project expenditures

The Secretariat provides administrative and operational research support in addition to carrying out other duties as assigned by CAIC
